What kind of business ideas work really good in Africa? We're talking about business start ups here. My next post will respond with a few of my own ideas that you can check out. But until then, oh-feel free...
Of course, I love your comments. But, if you can't comment at this particular time- but would like to let us know that you were here; please sign and View my guestbook

It's late and I figured the couple of things that came immediately to mind weren't worth posting. But what the heck.
I think fiber crops will become increasingly more important as oil becomes more expensive. Kenaf is a very interesting fiber crop which has many uses from papermaking to sheetgoods. While not as valuable as a seed oil plant as is hemp, the oils is quite valuable. Also the seeds themselves have value for export as few areas of the USA have long enough seasons to produce viable seeds and yet the crop is of growing importance here.
It's hard to figure out how to commercialize seed exchanges, but I believe these are important for African security and development.

Hmmm. very interesting...I confess, this is something which I have very little knowledge about, but the product that you mentioned nevertheless sounds promising. Also, seed exchanges are something that I am not too familiar with either.
I must do some research on the concept, as soon as time permits. Otherwise, thanks for bringing us valuable input-I really appreciate it!
