Hillary Clinton speech to AGOA forum in Kenya - Cleverly ignores politics
NAIROBI, Kenya - If Kenyans were hoping that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton would blast their government for recent abuses, they have been disappointed, at least so far.

US President's idea of governing Africa that he forcefully laid while on his trip to Ghana might be coming back to haunt him...so to speak...after US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton landed in Kenya Tuesday for the AGOA summit. Apparently, Kenya does not need her.

Benin: Very true, Atlanta has been the international city of the South. One of the interesting things about Kennesaw State University is that although it is situated in Kennesaw, Ga; which is a suburb of Metro Atlanta it is not in actually located within the city limits of Atlanta. So my question is how was KSU able to do what it did, in terms of becoming an international city, outside of inner city limits of Atlanta?
Adebayo: You hit the nail on the head about location. In Business School we hear the adage that talks about location being a key element in marketing. Such is the case with KSU. The location is good because Kennesaw is a suburb of Atlanta, but also because it is within a short distance to the interstate, so you can get there very easily..."

Kenya, a failed state, now headed to the dogs
It was once a vibrant African country whose development had inspired many. Kenya was also the economic powerhouse in East Africa, but now faces an uncertain future given the greed and corruption among its leaders. Following the 2008 post election violence that threw the country into a spin, the two feuding parties, ODM and PNU banded together a loose coalition government to reward cronies.Unfortunately for Kenya, all that holds the coalition together now is mutual greed and pressure from abroad.It is a shame that the current leadership in the country is less concerned about the future of its people...READ MORE

President George Bush’s Legacy: A Hollow Shoe?
After eight years at the helm of the world’s only super power, the shoe and dog incidents beg more answers on the legacy president Bush is leaving behind.Put into perspective, a shoe is hollow and empty, ready to collect any form of dirt the wearer steps on. Bush's foreign policies over the last eight years have failed in many parts of the world - questioning the thought and reasoning behind his actions during his reign as president. For instance, the 2003 Bush led war in Iraq that saw a rise in insurgency and global terrorism is seen as a huge mistake made by his administration. Such mistakes created by thoughtless actions can only compared to an empty and hollow object such as a shoe.
Bush's farewell visit to Iraqi was met with the same mettle. Muntazer al Zaidi, a reporter with the Cairo-based al-Baghdadia television network, was courageous enough to hurl two shoes, one after the other and an abuse at the president during a press conference that was also attended by Iraqi’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

Free web based press release center launched in Kenya
With the growth of internet users in Kenya, many businesses are also moving online. Recently launched is TG Press Release Center a web based press release center based in Nairobi Kenya.
The website is fully supported by online advertising and features relevant press releases from businesses across East Africa.
TG Press Release Center is part of TGEA (Teyie Global East Africa) online advertising network that is set to open its doors in the first quarter of 2009. According to information posted on the company's website, TGEA will offer targeted online advertising in East Africa through blogs, news sites and general websites.
"we are offering solutions that will allow both publishers and advertisers in East Africa to meet their online advertising objectives at affordable rates" says Mwangi the group's chief technologist.
TGEA is set to offer online ads for as low as two Kenya shillings (yes 2 shillings), to many businesses across East Africa. Additionally the group is also offering free web hosting and support to web content developers in the region to support the growth of their online advertising business.
TGEA is currently in talks with major publishers in the region and has in its stable a host of blogs already running network ads.
Mwangi says that the group is currently running free ads for interested companies in the region in the months of November and December through blogs and websites that have signed to the network. All interested firms, can register directly through a contact form on the TGEA website.
