Microfinance seems to be at the forefront in the battle to bring entrepreneurship to Uganda's masses-the group the George Ayittey refers to as the atingas or the peasant class in his book "Africa Unchained". As the referenced story suggest microfinance is not new.

However, the fact that someone in Gainesville, Florida, USA can make $100.00 available to someone-lets say 75 miles outside of Kampala, Uganda -from the comfort of their own living room-thats something to speak about.

It is way also to encourage and support the more trade, smarter aid concept, as well
