Her recent interview performance have portrayed Sarah Palin as dangerously ignorant and unprepared for the job of vice president, let alone president. Given that John McCain's old age might play serious tricks , thus making Palin the next US. president,...the so called "axis of evil" would very much appreciate a Palin Presidency which would make the US. a "soft target" for terror sponsoring nations. She doesn't seem strong enough. Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmedinejad would be particularly proud of a weakly naive US. presidency....READ MORE

We’re trying to rescue the economy, not the McCain campaign

John McCain's campaign manager received payments from the controversial mortgage giant Freddie Mac until last month. Couric asked for her reaction to that........READ MORE

McCain runs out of lipstick, evades crucial debate on economy
Suddenly the McCain machinery has run out of oil. The lies republicans have been telling America have now caught up with him. He is a typical George Bush, missing at times of crisis. As many expected, the 72 year old Senator is trying to evade the Friday debate with Illinois senator Barack Obama over key policy issues especially the economy.....READ MORE

Sarah Palin evades interview questions and admits ignorance on "the Bush Doctrine"
In an exclusive ABC news Interview conducted by "World News" anchor Charlie Gibson, Sarah Palin didn't seem to understand important issues especially those relating to national security.
ABC's Charlie Gibson was very specific When he asked the republican Vice Presidential nominee to elaborate on the claims made by John McCain that she had sufficient credentials to handle national security because she "commanded the Alaskan National Guard".
She evaded that question and instead yelled what appeared to be a crammed statement crafted by the McCain team.
".....I worked as chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission....."
An answer to which Charlie reminded her that national security is a whole lot more than energy. She paused for a while looking very perplexed then said "......energy is a foundation of national security"
A rookie she seemed but had perfect recall ability. She said word for word what the McCain team had written down for her to cram in anticipation for the interview.
Her ignorance on crucial international and local issues was exposed throughout the interview....CLICK HERE TO READ THE INTERVIEW

At 72 , A McCain win will make Sarah Palin President within 2 years.
The average life expectancy rate of an average American male (including John McCain) currently stands 73.6 years, while that for women stands at 79.4 years.
It is a known fact that John McCain is hanging on to dear life. His age is hovering dangerously close to the 73.6 years life expectancy average. We also know that old age marks the end of the human life cycle and brings with it both blessings and curses.
Apart from wrinkles and change of hair color, McCain displays symptoms of......READ MORE

Its Time for War: John McCain Declares
As expected, John McCain lived up to his billing as a war monger during his acceptance speech at the RNC. He called on Americans from all walks of life to continue the Bush administration doctrine to stand up and fight.
"I'm not running for president because I think I'm blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save our country in its hour of need. I know how the world works. I know the good and the evil in it." he said
"And I've found just the right partner to help me shake up Washington, Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska. I'm not in the habit of breaking promises to my country and neither is Governor Palin. We've got a record of doing just that, and the strength, experience, judgment and backbone to keep our word to you. We believe in a strong defense." he added
"I liked to bend a few rules, and pick a few fights for the fun of it. But I did it for my own pleasure; my own pride. Now I fight to restore the pride and principles of our party."
Fight with me. Fight with me. Stand up to defend our country from its enemies. Stand up, stand up, stand up and fight. Nothing is inevitable here. We're Americans, and we never give up. We never quit. We never hide from history. We make history. And I will fight.........for as long as I draw breath, so help me God....... CLICK THIS LINK TO READ THE ENTIRE SPEECH

An Escalation of the War in Afghanistan and Pakistan is a Very Bad Policy.
The U.S. practices selective proliferation with India , and selective sovereignty with those it chooses (today Pakistan , tomorrow someone other than Pakistan ), while at the same time violating the sovereignty of other states- depending on its whim at the time. If he becomes the next US president (God Forbid), John McCain has vowed to stay put in Iraq to bring more misery to the Iraqis . On the other hand, the Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama has elaborated a pull out plan but says he will send more US soldiers into Afghanistan.
The extension of the war on terror by the U.S. is bad for a number of reasons: the perspective of the international Muslim community; the fact that a military solution has not worked thus far, so why keep kicking a dead horse ; the delicate balance of power in the immediate theatre and in the broader region; the likely negative reaction of other states; and last but not least, its potential impact on the price and availability of oil. Have you ever thought What would happen should the US find itself at war with the entire world...READ MORE
It's not because John McCain doesn't care. It's because John McCain doesn't get it.
America, we are better than these last eight years. We are a better country than this. The same party that brought you two terms of George Bush and Dick Cheney will ask this country for a third. But the record's clear: John McCain has voted with George Bush 90 per cent of the time
Senator McCain likes to talk about judgement, but really, what does it say about your judgement when you think George Bush has been right more than 90 per cent of the time?.......READ MORE

Levy Mwanawasa should never have been president
He lacked charisma, wit or style—the sort of qualities that propel populists to high office in much of Africa. At rallies even his own supporters were fast bored by the former lawyer’s monotone drawl. His ill-health and slurred speech, the results of a car crash, led to nasty jibes about his mental capacity. When he narrowly won his first, disputed, presidential election in 2001, opponents dubbed him “the cabbage”, deriding him as a stooge for others more powerful. READ MORE

Was Jesus a Lunatic?
Jesus’ greatness was obvious to all those who saw and heard him. But, whereas most great people simply fade into history books, Jesus of Nazareth is still the focus of numerous books and media controversy. And much of that controversy revolves around the radical claims Jesus made about himself. As an unheralded carpenter from an obscure Galilean village in Israel, Jesus made claims that, if true, have profound implications on our lives. According to Jesus, you and I are special, part of a grand cosmic scheme, with him as the center of it all. READ MORE

Why Obama cartoon failed to tickle
A New Yorker cover illustration, showing Barack Obama dressed as a Muslim fist-bumping his gun-toting wife,[SEE CARTOON] fell a foul of the humour police Monday. To some, it was satire. To others, it was aid and comfort to the malice mongers who hide under the rocks of American politics. In the end, it was both.
Like a practical joke, satire can be hysterically funny without a shared catharsis, but that’s often a cruel form of humour. To be effective — if by effective one means a teachable moment, a transformative bump forward in self-awareness — the humour must be widely appreciated....READ MORE

Aides to Rogue Kenyan Finance Minister involved in Shady deal Paraded in Shame (Includes Central Bank Governor)
The Grand Regency Hotel changed hands at Sh1.85 billion and not Sh2.9 billion. Earlier reports by the finance minister Amos Kimunya were proved wrong by evidence produced by his cabinet colleague, the Minister for Lands, James Orengo who uncovered newer details about the shady deal.
A Libyan embassy official, Mr Ahmed Mabrouk, said the mission was not involved in the transaction, adding that the matter was purely between investors from his country and the Central Bank of Kenya.
Members of parliament have planned a motion of no confidence in the Finance Minister whose aides in the shady deal were paraded yesterday in shame. The list includes Kenya's Central bank Governor who had earlier denied any links in the transaction…... READ MORE

How to get Rid of RObert Mugabe
By forcing the opposition to abandon the election, Robert Mugabe has undermined his position. He is, as a result, weaker; but he and his thugs are determined to hang on. He has the tyrant’s delusion that “only God”, as he puts it, can displace him. So Western and African countries, especially Zimbabwe’s neighbours, must act in concert to get rid of the ogre that has shamed an entire continent.
Uncle Bob is forgetting that the world can finish him off very easily in a few calculated steps.....READ MORE
